Quality Inspector 4p-2:30A

Commercial Employees is hiring quality inspectors for a firearms manufacturer located in Summerville – Jedbug Area. The payrates rage between $17 - $21 is responsible for the inspection, measurement, documentation of in-process and finished goods. Shift 4:00p–2:30a M-Th or 4 = 10’s

Quality Inspector Duties

Quality Inspectors use appropriate methods and equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pitch Micrometers, TIR Gage, Air Gage, Height Gages, Thread Gages etc.
Quality Inspectors Perform incoming material inspections as necessary to validate they meet necessary specifications.
Perform First Article Inspections and provide results to support manufacturing and production of material and components.
Provide In-Process Inspections, random and scheduled, to manufacturing to verify quality requirements are being met.
Ability to analyze quality data and decide whether to certify or reject specific products and communicate results appropriately.
Ability to prepare written documentation such as Non-Conforming Material Reports, Product Acceptance Records, Inspection Plans, Quality Alerts etc.
Ability to operate (but not limited to) the MahrShaft, Zoller Tool Presetter, Comparator, Air Gages, CMM’s
