WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The MRO Warehouse Manager will have responsibility for all warehouse employees in MRO Inventory and Receiving, will be responsible for overall direction and coordination of the teams
JOB DUTIES:
- Directly responsible for the development and training leads and employees, working within the guidelines of company policies
- Takes leadership role regarding employee safety by enforcing safe practices, addressing unsafe conditions and holding regular safety meetings
- Counsels and disciplines employees
- Independently develop strategies and tactics for improving operational effectiveness while improving customer service and reducing inventory levels as well as operational costs
- Establishes workload priorities to achieve outstanding service to internal customers
- Coordinates activities with procurement and maintenance to obtain optimum utilization of resources and inventory
- Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of storeroom and central supply personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment
- Prepared instructions regarding inventory systems and procedures
- Analyses market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develops alternative solutions
- Responsible for project management, develops and coordinates communication and progress
- Responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service and responds to requests for service and assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 + years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
Required Skills And Abilities:
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent decision-making capabilities and ability to guide others towards making sound business choices
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
- Establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- JD Edwards experience
- Kronos timekeeping system
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- May be required to sit or stand for an extended period of time during work period
- May be required to package items, lift, and carry boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Material exposure- machine vibrations, moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles
- Environmental exposure- seasonal outdoor temperatures (40° or below), heat (99° or above),
wet, and darkened conditions
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
- 1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm) Monday through Friday onsite, when business requires before/after hours will be mandatory
