OVERVIEW

The Town of Pecos City is seeking motivated high school and undergraduate students for our paid Summer Internship Program. This 10-week program provides an immersive experience working alongside industry professionals on real projects and initiatives. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and get exposure to potential future career paths.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with projects and tasks as assigned by department managers and mentors.
• Attend training sessions to learn about the company, industry, and job functions.
• Participate in team meetings and presentations.
• Provide general administrative and operational support of the department (s).

• Currently enrolled high school junior/senior or undergraduate student
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
