Physician Liaison

Health Quest Therapy, Inc., a physical and occupational Rehabilitative Therapy company, is searching for a candidate to fill the position of Physician Liaison. The successful candidate will be outgoing, friendly, and actively represent the interests of the Health Quest Therapy clinic group, expand our referral base and grow brand awareness. The ability to articulate clinic services, products, and capabilities with tenacity and dogged determination to seek out and engage clinic constitutes will be critical to your success.

Responsibilities and duties

• Completes Daily Activity Log and submits to supervisor.

• Regularly meets with referring physicians and clinical staff throughout the trading Mat-Su Valley, Eagle River, and Anchorage area.

• Seeks out new referral opportunities using a variety of means.

• Participates with marketing personnel to implement the distribution of direct mail and related media.      

• Develops and maintains relationships with referring providers. 

• Clearly articulates attributes and benefits of clinic services, products, and capabilities. 

• Coordinates training and demonstrations.

• Physician Liaison enters new customer data and updates sales data for current customers into the database.

• Solicits customer feedback to improve service. Responds promptly to customer and clinic needs and meets commitments.

• Physician Liaison attends tradeshow and updates stock promotional materials.

Skills required 

• Physician Liaison will speak clearly and persuasively. 

• Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.

• Synthesizes complex information, collects and researches data.

• Physician Liaison will manage difficult or emotional customer situations.

• Knowledge of word processor/computer and software (Internet, Microsoft Office).

• Must understand the practical application of mathematics, including add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Qualification required

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience in business, public relations, or marketing.

• Valid Alaska Drivers' license, dependable vehicle, and current insurance.

This position is full-time. Pay is DOE and benefits include PTO (vacation and sick leave), 401(k) retirement savings, 6 paid holidays, and health insurance.
