If so, Clarkston Medical Group is looking for you to join our TEAM as a Medical Assistant in our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine office!! Must have prior experience working as a Medical Assistant!!
As a Medical Assistant, your job responsibilities would include but aren't limited to:
- Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing patients for examination
- Drawing blood
- Administering medications as directed by the physician
- Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
- Collect laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant, preferred
- Athena experience a plus!
- Prior experience working in Orthopedics, preferred
