Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management and Technical Skills
- Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with project management and field staff for just-in-time deliveries.
- Pulling orders received from the project teams
- Making deliveries to the various projects, vendors, and charities
- Provide trucking of materials as requested by project teams
- Provide support to Main Office staff and departments
- Meeting and collaborating with management to procure inventory from suppliers and vendors.
- Procure equipment, consumables, and materials to meet the demands of our project teams
- Be engaged with suppliers and vendors on supply chain issues and timeliness of goods
- Coordinate repairs with outside vendors and/or manufactures
- Receive shipments of materials and examine deliveries to ensure accurate quantities, quality, and specifications.
- Inspection of equipment prior to delivery
- Inspection of equipment after return; is periotic maintenance due, does it need repaired
- Maintain Inventory levels
- Performing clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and files of activities.
- Maintain our Asset Assignment Log: Make, Model, Serial Number, Vendor
- Equipment Management Log: Track items being checked out and returned by projects
- Proficiently use the Point of Rental system; Absher Rentals inventory software
- Ensuring organization and tidiness of warehouse and yard.
- Perform light-duty repairs of equipment and vehicles
- Maintain the facility and campus grounds
- Following established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role
- Proficient understanding of materials and services procurement
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient people skills
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain CDL
- Certified Forklift Operator
- The ability to safely move in and out of the bed of a delivery truck or pickup truck
- Understanding of load stability and how to safely tie down a load using strapping and anchor points of the vehicle.

Physical Demands:
This job may be performed in the office or on the jobsite and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Heavy lifting may be needed; the employee should be able to lift items up to 40lbs. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the jobsite.
