United Talent Staffing is seeking an Instructor - C&M to join the Hope Gas team in Clarksburg, WV.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Instructor to enhance the Training and Evaluation operations across Hope Utilities. This position is responsible for the Training and Operator Qualification Evaluation of C&M employees across the Hope Utilities footprint including (Hope Gas, Frontier Gas, Northeast Ohio, Sycamore Gas, Bangor Gas, and Energy West Montana).

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for Training and Evaluation of employees at Hope Utilities at the Technical Training Facility.
Ensure all DOT, OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, NFPA 54 and state regulations are adhered to for each operating business as part of training process.
Instruct and qualify various classes with emphasis in C&M (Construction & Maintenance) functions.
Assist other Instructors with classes as needed.
Assist Training Supervisor with the scheduling of all Training classes and OQ Evaluations.
Assist with investigation efforts into all post-incident investigations, material, and mechanical failures.
Assist the Instructional Design Specialist with development of training content and curriculum.
Assist with Training and OQ audits across Hope Utilities.
Focus on identifying and implementing new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the training and evaluation experience.
Travel to conduct classes across Hope Utilities footprint as necessary.
Perform other duties as necessary.

Main Qualifications

5+ years of experience in C&M, and/or Gas Operations, or related field preferred.
Experience in training and instructing employees in different capacities.
Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, and NFPA 54 regulations.
Ability to identify safety and training indicators for improvement and implement proactive measures.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 preferred
