Entry Level Software Engineer, C

We are looking for an entry-level Software Engineer to work on embedded software to help make heavy equipment move! If you have experience developing in C and an interest to learn, this could be a great fit. Experience in electrical engineering and/or controls is a plus too.

In this role, you'll get to work on a great team with a good work/life balance. The job is located northeast of Pittsburgh 1.5 hours, and is partially remote. It comes with full benefits!

In this role you'll

Responsibilities (experience in all not required)

• Design, program, and unit test efficient software.
• Develop software for real-time embedded and distributed control systems including device interfaces, networking protocols, operator interfaces, remote controls, operational logic, automation and sequencing, data logging, on-board diagnostics, and off-board analytics.
• Develop machine automation software using on board machine sensors and state-based automation to increase user safety while maximizing machine efficiency and availability.
• Some domestic and overseas travel is possible.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Good GPA
• Software development experience with C
• Experience developing with MATLAB, Java, and Python beneficial.
