Wicked Cantina, located in Sarasota, seeks a talented, experienced prep cook to join our team. As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing all ingredients needed for the kitchen and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all ingredients needed for the kitchen, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment and tools
- Assist with the creation of new dishes and specials
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 pounds
