Site Designer – Construction - Base Salary to 55k/year – Erlanger, KY
- Our client ranks among the top 30 home builders nationwide! Located in Erlanger, KY, they specialize in crafting single-family properties, including patio homes, townhomes, condos, and more, ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 square feet. Their focus lies in developing communities across Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Indianapolis, Louisville, and St. Louis, each tailored to diverse lifestyles. - The Site Designer will contribute to the design and planning of communities and home sites. Additionally, the Site Designer will provide crucial information to sales and construction teams regarding site-related details and costs.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize distinctive communities, strategize home placements, and estimate construction expenses concerning site conditions.
- Understand the integrated nature of land planning, land development, landscaping, and home building.
- Review and assess construction blueprints provided by our engineering partners.
- Offer insights and recommendations (both product and strategy) on new sections/communities for review and approval by the Division Manager and President.
- Aid internal decision-makers with specific requests regarding home sites.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Marketing, Options, and Information Systems to implement process enhancements.
- Support the Site Design Project Manager and VP of Engineering and Site Design in reviewing plans to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with government regulations while facilitating efficient construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar field.
- Experience utilizing AutoCAD / Adobe / GIS or other software technologies
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 55/year
