The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Lead Teachers for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs.

We are looking for dedicated, experienced Lead Teachers who make child and family relationships a priority while understanding and applying early childhood education practices. • Lead Closing teacher: Part Time or Full Time
• Lead Toddler Closing teacher: Part Time or Full Time
• Infant Lead teachers looking to open an new room to expand our program!
• Lead School Age teacher: Full time or Part time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on qualifications outlined below under requirements.

Some day-to-day tasks:

• Complete ongoing state and company training to help equip you to create a safe and engaging environment- we pay for the courses and your time!
• Use curriculum studies to create lesson plans that you and your students will love. Don't worry, we have lots of ideas to choose from.
• Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
• Provide a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Apply knowledge of child development to foster relationships with children and tailor the play-based environment.
• Adhere to state licensing, health, fire and quality rating procedures
• Have fun!

Requirements

• Early Childhood Lead: Applicants must be 18 years old, have proof of a high school diploma or GED and have at least a 3.0 level 2 in Colorado Shines. Preferably have ECE courses, a completed college degree in education, or a current Child Development Associate (CDA). Starting salary range is $16.50-$17.50 based on education and experience.
