Position Overview:
In this role, you will engage in Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM), technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs. You will also participate in reviews and assessments of C3BM engineering products and documentation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with engineering risk management processes to identify, quantify, and characterize C3BM risks. Represent MDA/BC position in risk management meetings and activities.
- Maintain familiarity with agency failure review processes and support emergent test and operational issue investigation/resolution such as FRBs (process, coordination and technical assessments).
- Provide systems engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C3BM, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements. Provide integrated technical risk assessments for flight test, technical, variance, cyber, and programmatic risks to inform C3BM participation/performance requirements for flight test, ETRs, OCB, or Technical Capability Declaration (TCD) decisions.
- Develop and update systems engineering plans, processes, and procedures for C3BM multi-spiral applications. Maintain and update the MDA/BC Chief Engineer Weekly Status Report. Review and assess Prepare data and information for documents including risk management plans and internal /external ICD management plans.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years' of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
- Apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world tests, integration, and operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Some travel is required.
