Regional Retail Manager

HK Global Trading is seeking an experienced Regional Retail Manager for our California stores. This position is responsible for increasing revenue by leading, mentoring, and training store managers and our sales staff.

 Responsibilities: 

• Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency 
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control 
• Cycle Counting, Auditing, etc.
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes 
• Analyzing and interpreting marketing trends to participate in a competitive market 
• Staffing: interviewing, hiring, conducting employee evaluations and performance reviews; providing or organizing training and development; employee supervision; employee scheduling; enforcing dress code 
• Ensuring standards for Health & Safety, Quality, and Customer Service 
• Responding to customer complaints and comments 
• Organizing special promotions and displays as per corporate instructions 
• Reviewing and analyzing reports: Slow-moving stock report, Inventory Stock level reports, customer-related reports, etc. 
• Ensuring loss and prevention standards 
• Supervising the management of Bonded Merchandise as per U.S. Customs regulations: inventory, record keeping, and sales 
• Travel to territory assigned commercial locations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience managing multiple retail stores. (5-10 years) 
• Retail and/or duty-free Sales Experience 
• Inventory Management Experience 
• Financial profit & loss management 
• Prior import/export and/or duty-free store knowledge preferred 
• Computer literate 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required 
• Excellent communication skills required 
• Motivational and strong leadership management skills 
• Proven record as an area or regional manager in a commission sales environment
