The QA Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance within the production facility. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the QA Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on various components and assemblies to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections and tests on components, assemblies, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize written instructions, specifications, and diagrams to conduct inspections and interpret technical requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of quality assessments.
- Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities to the Quality Assurance Supervisor for further investigation and resolution.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Conduct periodic audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Assist in the training of production personnel on quality control processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or training in quality inspection or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and procedures accurately.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Competency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables and standardized solutions.
