Job Description- Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects.
- Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; designing common keys in physical data structure; establishing data integration specifications; examining data applications.
- Examines data models and determines best-fit data interchange methods.
- Assesses middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing.
- Develops project scope and specifications identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecasts resource requirements and establishes delivery timetables.
- Use python to design and execute data engineering pipelines
- Work with researchers to understand the requirements for data provisioning and then provision the data in a secure and governed fashion.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or closely related field or equivalent related professional experience is required. Additional certifications are preferred.
- Seven or more (7+) years of experience in a development role, designing and developing integrations to internal and external applications
- Strong hands-on python and some experience of web development (flask would be ideal)
- Strong relational database knowledge and hands-on SQL
- Proficiency is python is required
- Experience with imaging informatics a distinct plus, including ability to process DICOM image data.
- Knowledge of Epic (Chronicles/ Clarity/ Caboodle) is a plus
