Job Description
Metro Services is looking to immediately hire CNC Operator Machinists for a Manufacturing company in Plymouth, MI. This is a temp/contract position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include:
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment
- Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
- Change inserts
- Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
- Use basic measuring instruments
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Compensation (USD):
1st Shift - $35.00/hour
2nd Shift - $36.00/hour
3rd Shift - $37.00/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift
6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
2nd Shift
2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
3rd Shift
10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Clean Background/Drug screen
- Basic Math Skills
- 1-2 years of experience
- Micrometer and caliper proficient
- Ability to read blueprints
- Preferably Tsugami/Murata experience but not required (can be experienced in others, like Haas, Fanuc, and other CNC lathe machines, but needs to be able to train up to the Tsugami and Murata)
