We are currently seeking an accurate, experienced, and thorough accounting services staff to join our rapidly growing and family-minded accounting firm. Accounting Services Staff Duties and Responsibilities

·        Payroll preparation and processing and payroll tax filings

·        Sales tax reporting

·        Prepare front-end bookkeeping engagements by translating bank and credit card activity to a general ledger

·        Analyze and verify client information in existing files

·        Prepare general journal entries

·        Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures

·        Financial statement preparation

Accounting Services Staff Requirements and Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred but not required

·        Thomson Reuters Creative Solutions software experience preferred but not required

·        3+ years of professional accounting experience

·        Proficient with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel

·        Vendor and customer reconciliations experience

·        Strict attention to detail, highly organized, and efficient

·        Strong communication skills

·        Positive can-do attitude and appetite for constant learning
