Commercial Plumber

Job description

Meckley Services is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our team. Our plumbers drive a company vehicle to and from customer sites to install, service and repair fittings, fixtures of water and all plumbing needs to the specifications and plumbing codes.

Hourly rate is based on experience.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an individual who is a self-starter who has pride in their work, the ability to work independently, provide maintenance and repair services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to Customer Service Requests (service calls)
• Diagnose and repair all plumbing problems
• Outstanding ability to estimate materials, labor and equipment costs
• Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customer
• Maintain current vehicle inventory, cleanliness and maintenance
• Perform manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined individual with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches
• Back flow Testing Certified is desired
• Demonstrated ability to perform and work efficiently without supervision
• Must be customer service oriented and have strong customer service skills
• Working knowledge of computer systems
• Schedule flexibility - must be willing to work overtime, nights and weekends
• Possession of and ability to operate industry standard tools
• Valid state driver's license
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a criminal background screening and drug test, and driver's license check

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
