The Role: Director/Senior Director of Clinical Workforce Management Location: Remote What You’ll Do:

As the Director of Clinical Workforce Management, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and overseeing the dynamic interplay between supply and demand within our clinical workforce. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of healthcare operations, workforce planning, and the ability to align staffing needs with organizational goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for ensuring optimal patient care through effective workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical workforce strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.
    • Analyze current and future trends in healthcare to forecast workforce needs and anticipate potential challenges.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align workforce planning with organizational growth and patient care initiatives.
  • Supply and Demand Management:
    • Monitor and analyze the supply and demand dynamics of the clinical workforce.
    • Develop and implement strategies to address fluctuations in staffing requirements, ensuring an optimal balance between workforce capacity and patient care needs.
    • Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified clinical professionals.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Work closely with department heads and managers to allocate clinical staff efficiently based on patient acuity, departmental needs, and budget constraints.
    • Implement tools and systems to optimize resource allocation, ensuring a responsive and agile workforce.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting:
    • Define and track key performance indicators related to workforce management effectiveness.
    • Generate regular reports to assess the impact of workforce strategies on key performance metrics, and use this data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Technology/Product:
    • Partner with product and engineering teams on technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in staffing processes.

  • Extensive experience in healthcare workforce management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.

  • A competitive compensation package, including a hiring base pay range of $130,000 - $200,000/year
