Are you ready to grind your way into an exciting career? We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Grinder Operator for the 2nd shift!

Job Details:

Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour.
Shift: 2nd Shift
Shift Differential: $2.50/hour.

Responsibilities:

As a Grinder Operator, your role is crucial to our production process, and your duties will include:

Loading and unloading materials into the tumbler machine.
Operating the tumbler machine efficiently.
Moving materials to the next processing stage.
Conducting machine maintenance.
Operating cranes and conducting daily checks.
Utilizing hand jacks and forklifts.
Using barcodes for tracking completions.
Conducting quality checks using dial gauges.
Maintaining daily reports.
Performing tooling changes (e.g., plate, wheel, comb, in chute, out chute).
Checking hydraulic systems, lube oil, and dresser unit as part of maintenance.
Troubleshooting machinery issues.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area (5S/3D principles).
Handling lapping (L23) and coolant tank clean-up.
Operating the brush washer machine and conducting maintenance.
Handling material from washer to conveyor.
Mixing L23 oil.
Adjusting dresser body (wheel/plate depth) and changing diamond.
Separating materials.
Running three production lines per person.

Skills and Abilities:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Competency in reading and writing in English.
Proficiency in basic arithmetic.
Problem-solving skills relevant to production machinery.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
