SEARCH Group Partners is seeking a Loan Underwriter for one of our clients located in Draper, UT.
Here's what we're looking for...
We are looking for a reliable professional to underwrite parameters and determine the best funding solutions for Small Business Owners. The goal is to help qualified applicants obtain funding in a timely manner and protect our organization’s credibility. Loan Processor duties and responsibilities will include analysis, appraisal and evaluation of funding applicants, as well as writing and finalizing contracts. This individual will need to be motivated to follow up with applicants to assist in finalizing the approval and funding process.
Here's what you'll be doing...
- Perform initial appraisal of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications
- Assess the credit standings of applicants through background research
- Interview applicants to evaluate their eligibility for funding
- Conclude on all applicable financial and non-financial criteria and develop loan repayment plans
- Follow up with clients to clarify important points
- Finalize loan contracts and keep clients informed in rules and obligations
- Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services
- Create and renew records
- Answer phone calls, emails and texts from applicants
Here's what you need to have...
- Proven working experience in a lending role
- Experience in B2B communication and relationships
- Good knowledge of banking computer software and MS Office
- Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures
- In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Balance between customer satisfaction orientation and a results driven approach
