Okuma CNC Machinist
Needing experienced CNC machinist with Okuma lathes.
Work hours 6:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
· Knowledge of the Okuma’s IGF programing system.
· Perform set-ups quickly.
· Identify problems before production runs, start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
· Adjust machine controls offsets to keep tight tolerances up to .0005”
· Must understand how to read complex blueprints and schematics.
· Read and understand the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gages to measure work piece for conformance to specifications during production runs.
· Maintain knowledge of dimensions and tolerances for tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and cutting tools to be used.
· Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
· Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
