Packing Operator

We are seeking a motivated individual with previous production or assembly line experience to join our team as a Wrapper/Assistant Operator. The successful candidate will assist the Printer Operator in running machines, specifically shrink wrapping pizza boxes in 50-count case quantities, palletizing, labelling, and completing pallet tags. This role requires physical stamina as it involves bending and lifting for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the production process.

Pay rate: $20/hr - $21.91/hour

Position Description:

Production experience

Ability to bend and lift for 8 hours

Responsibilities:

Assist Printer Operator in machine operation, including shrink wrapping, palletizing, labeling, and completing pallet tags.

Lift and carry raw materials, production supplies, and final products weighing less than 50 lbs.

Conduct visual inspections of print and box quality throughout the shift.

Attention to detail:

a) Check accuracy of order paperwork and picking sheets.

b) Verify product/board types, including size, color, and depth.

c) Inspect art cards for ink colors and print placement; good math skills required.

Work safely, adhering to all safety policies and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including trash removal, banding, and emptying ink pails to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
