Location: Sylmar, CA

Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 Per Year (Relocation is not paid)

Description: As a Chief Estimator at Company, reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and oversee all estimating activities for tunneling projects. You will be responsible for reviewing contract plans, specifications, and other bid documents, supervising estimating personnel, identifying major items in RFQs & RFPs, soliciting quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, preparing bid documents, and much more. Your role will involve crucial collaboration with owners, JV partners, and project teams to ensure the success of our bids.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field from an accredited institution, with 10+ years of relevant estimating, project management, or construction experience. Alternatively, 14+ years of relevant experience if the degree requirement is not met.
• 10+ years of tunneling and/or heavy civil project experience.
• 5+ years of experience estimating on tunneling projects.
• 5+ years of experience leading/supervising estimating teams.
• Proficiency with HCSS, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar software.
• Willingness to travel up to 15-20%.
