Maintenance Worker

We are seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn and grow in the maintenance field. The Entry Level Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Essential Functions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Assist with the maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when performing maintenance tasks
• Hot and cold appliance repair

Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid Alaska Driver's License and clean driving record. Must have personal, reliable transportation and a working cell phone. Previous maintenance, trade work, or construction experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in the maintenance field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment such as power tools and machinery
