Electrical Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Supervising work crews in the installation, repair, or maintenance of electrical systems, including installation of electrical wiring, conduits, transformers, lighting, switches, breakers, fuses, power lines, junction boxes, etc.
• Perform all responsibilities required to administer safe and proper electrical services, which includes, but is not limited to: reading and understanding blueprints, terminating devices, perform quality control testing and troubleshooting etc.
• Generate daily production and progress work reports
• Conduct inspections ensuring that projects meet plans, quality, OSHA, and client requirements.
• Responsible for diagnosing and explaining the issues found with the electrical equipment and components.
• Responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, wiring and testing of electrical equipment. Tasks may involve working in both a new construction and commercial settings.
• Have working and applied knowledge of NEC
• Estimating materials needed for projects and ordering supplies from suppliers
• Maintain clean and organized working environment, and properly store and use all tools and equipment.
• Complete all required work in accordance to safety procedures and/or project plans. Must be able to complete all work within allotted time frame, while meeting company and customer standards.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (Required)
• Minimum 5 years electrical experience (Required)
• Ability to work in various angels or surfaces, such as climbing ladders, rooftop work etc.
• Ability to reach, bend, walk and stand for stretched periods of time.
• Ability to carry and handle a minimum of 50lbs
• Must have basic tools required to perform tasks required.
• Ability to adapt to a multitude of working environmets
• Ability to work independently and/or with others
• Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal, to communicate with project managers, store/facilities managers, customers, and fellow employees.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
