Our company, Apotheco Pharmacy Group (“Apotheco”), is an independent retail pharmacy specializing in dermatology products. We are searching for Licensed Pharmacists to join our team! We care about our employees and believe in a work/life balance! Full-time pharmacists receive 15 days of PTO, floating holidays, and 100% employer paid short & long term disability, life insurance. Apotheco pays ~80% of an employee’s medical benefit premiums. We also offer Dental & Vision benefits and a 401k plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Providing direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws;
  • Providing consultation and other pharmacy services to patients;
  • Providing supervision of Apotheco’s support staff; and
  • All other functions reasonably assigned to you that are consistent with your title.

Education/Experience:

Have earned a BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

License/Certification:

Licensed Pharmacist in applicable State.

  • Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be detailed oriented.
  • Familiar with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and PA programs
  • Time management skills
  • Written and Oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Window, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Strong team building and leadership skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.
