2ND SHIFT ORDER PICKER WITH REACH OPERATOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED IN GRAPEVINE!!!
SHIFT: 2nd (3PM until finish)
Must have experience operating REACH TRUCK OR CHERRY PICKER.
Metro Staffing Solutions has partnered with the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to identify some of the best and brightest talent to join their team at the distribution center located in Grapevine TX.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
STEEL TOED BOOTS REQUIRED ON FIRST (1ST) DAY
MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREENING

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check specs. Load/unload production lines
- Utilizes measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.).
- Performs 100% manual inspection of parts.
- Inspect parts produced to ensure they meet specifications, using essential inspection equipment.
- Make necessary offsets.
- Change/adjust production tooling.
- Complete production paperwork.
- Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants,
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - perform 5S cleaning responsibilities
- Understand and review the product throughout the production process to ensure the final product quality meets standards.
- Must be able to work overtime if needed and have an excellent attendance record.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Follow any other instructions or duties as necessary
- Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
- Must have experience in machining and using measuring tools such as drop indicators, dial gauges, plug gauges, and calipers
- Ability to read build tickets to assemble the finished product
- MUST HAVE REACH OPERATOR EXPERIENCE (NOT SITDOWN)
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 90 lbs consistently
- Must be able to work 8 – 12 hr shifts
- Withstand long periods of standing, bending, twisting, and/or lifting
- Able to work in a fast pace environment on production lines
- Work in a non-climate control environment
