Project Manager

Environmental Research Group, LLC incl AmaTerra, ERG Texas Services. Founded in 2000, ERG is an environmental consulting small business providing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, Compliance, Restoration, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) services to federal, state, local/municipal, and commercial clients across the United States. Duties:
  • Contractor coordination (badging, non-hazardous and hazardous investigations derived waste handling, status calls, dig permits, and all other contractor activities)
  • Regulatory coordination (status and technical call coordinating/participation, managing comments/comment resolution, negotiating responses, addressing concerns, partnering)
  • Technical Document Review and Comment Resolution
  • Administrative Record Management
  • Restoration Advisory Board Management/Facilitation/Participation (includes addressing community concerns, questions, and requests for information)
  • Unscheduled periodic Garrison Commander and other dignitary installation restoration program updates/briefings or requests for information
  • Program support (annual cost to complete, Installation Action Plans, Headquarters Army Environmental Service (HQAES) updates)
  • State Regulator biennial DSMOA planning support to ensure funding
  • Update and finalize the Site Management Plan
  • Reviewing and providing input on Scopes of Work / Answering Questions during the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) / attending site visits for RFPs
  • Annual Contract Planning
  • Close coordination/development of CERCLA Five Year Reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Five years of experience in technical leadership for other contracts/programs
  • Minimum of four years working experience in the environmental field
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance for the assigned installation
  • Knowledge of the CERCLA and Clean Up program, Project Management Plan, Cleanup Program Technical Support, Program Document Review Support, Briefings, Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) Support, Correspondence Support, Confirmation Notices and After Action Reports, Cleanup Program Binder and Summary Report, and Comment Response Package
  • DoD Cleanup experience is a must
  • Helpful technical background/experience: Installation Restoration Program, CERCLA Process, Chlorinated Solvents, Karst geology
