Behavioral Health Consultant

ABOUT THE JOB

The Behavioral Health Consultant is responsible for providing early mental health consultation and support to EarlyLearn programs and staff. They are also responsible for assisting with caretaker screenings, making referrals as needed, and conducting intake assessments in the Early Childhood Treatment Center Clinic.

The Early Childhood team supports children and families and promotes wellness through collaboration, advocacy and empowerment. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities. This position is located in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• LMSW, LMHC, LCAT or Limited Permit/Licensed Psychologist.
• Experience working with children and young families is required.
• Fluency in Spanish or French/Creole is preferred.
