Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we’re not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSING

  • Manage all aspects of Plymouth Housing events, including the Seattle Dances Gala, Pop Some Tops Summer fundraiser, Key to Hope Luncheon, and donor events.
  • Lead the Promoters of Plymouth (PoP) Committee, engaging young professionals in fundraising and awareness activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendor relationships, guest communication, and volunteer management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support building opening and groundbreaking events.
  • Work in collaboration with Director of Development and Communications Department to create an event marketing plan and implementation including management of event websites, online marketing tools, collateral design and production, and social media strategies.
  • Assist in securing corporate sponsorships and managing benefit delivery for special events.
  • Ensure accurate gift management and entry processes in collaboration with the Development Database Specialist and Finance team.
  • In coordination with the Director of Development and team, responsible for creating solid, respectful relationships with Plymouth donors, supporters and vendors.

KEY REQUIREMENTS WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aligned with Plymouth Housing's mission.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and desktop publishing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the initiative to work independently.
  • Availability to attend events outside of standard business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or another related field or equivalent and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of non-profit or corporate event management.
  • 1+ years of Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Experience in virtual/hybrid event planning a plus.
