Accounts Receivable Clerk
Pay Rate: $20.00-22.00 per hour | 41,600-45,760 annually
Location: Houston, TX 77015
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm
A steel supplier and metal processing company is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk! This role’s primary focus is in assisting the company receivables of payments for goods and services offered to clients. Apply now for this position hiring ASAP!
Responsibilities:
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and AR transactions
- Maintains customer files: name or address changes, mergers, and mailing attention
- Complete and draft communications for past-due accounts and collections,
- Review and determine delinquent accounts, contact past-due account holders and request payment
- Provide account research and reporting as requested
- Work with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivables periodically
- Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month
List Qualification or Requirements:
- 2+ years of related accounting experience
- Strong customer service skills and ability to make collections calls
- Ability to speak with customers and vendors regarding materials ordered and invoices
- Proficiency in MS Office 365
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
