Shipping & Receiving

Execute the goals and objectives set by the Warehouse Manager to ensure a working environment encouraging team work and individual motivation. Handling packages via assigned carriers in an efficient and accurate manner. Manually move, stack, unstack, and otherwise manipulate packages to prepare them for transport. Effectively process relevant written and verbal communication to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Available for OT as needed

Pay Rate:

• $15.00 per hour start
• Benefits and Salary Review upon permanent hire

Job Duties:

• Picking and checking orders with 100% accuracy.
• Packaging of product to ensure no risk of damage when shipped.
• Carefully analyzing shipping instructions for each order.
• Weighing and measuring dimensions of individual packages to be entered in appropriate shipping program.
• Shipping orders via using computer systems and various software (i.e. UPS, FedEx)
• Following the correct procedures for operations.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Warehouse up-keep; cleaning floors with dust mop and mop.
• Comply with the Company's attendance/tardiness standards

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 1 years of shipping experience.
• Must be familiar with packaging processes and procedures.
• Must have computer skills.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized, team oriented and high motivated.
