Facility Maintenance Technician - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

We are seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities to ensure they are safe, efficient, and in optimal working condition. The facilities maintenance technician will perform a variety of tasks including preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and general upkeep of equipment, machinery, and building systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and building systems according to schedule.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants.
4. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
7. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
8. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
9. Keep work areas clean and organized.
10. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a facilities maintenance technician or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
9. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and bending.
10. Certification in relevant trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus.

• Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
