Tour / Guest Services Host

Position summary: As the Tour / Guest Services Host at Alyeska Resort, you will play a pivotal role in curating exceptional experiences for our Tour guests throughout the season. This dynamic position is focused on summer operations, with an opportunity for year-round growth within Guest Services / Activities.

Position responsibilities:

• Be the on-property point of contact for Tour Groups, liaising between Front Operations, Sales and Tour Directors to create the best experience and atmosphere for our summer clientele, assisting in the overall guest experience of the resort.
• Identify common issues for Tour guests and be a voice for solutions that enhance day-to-day operations for group guests.
• Work closely with the Front Office Manager, Tour & Travel Manager, Concierge & Bell/Valet Services.
• Collaborate with guest services and guest activities to promote activities and maximize participation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding special requests for Tours.
• Be present for Tour functions on property, which Tour & Travel Manager is unable to attend.
• Assist Concierge in creating Gift cards, scheduling activities and providing general information about Alyeska Resort.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local vendors/operators, ensuring high-quality and authentic experiences for guests.

• Communicate information in a timely manner to the hotel and partners.
• Be able to comfortably check-in/out guests when assisting Front Operations or Concierge.
• Create and distribute guest information (key packets, keys, vouchers, tickets, maps, and departure / arrival information) to appropriate parties, including guests, Tour Directors and staff.

• Ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Computer programs utilized include Micros, Opera, Alice, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail.
• Other duties as assigned.
