Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Housekeeper. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and a pleasant environment for our valued guests. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
• Make beds, change linens, and ensure towels and toiletries are well-stocked in guest rooms.
• Handle laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when items need to be replenished.
• Conduct inspections of rooms to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair issues.
• Collect and store lost items found in guest rooms or common areas, following hotel procedures for returning them to guests.
• Follow health and safety guidelines while using cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Communicate effectively with guests and other staff members, addressing guest requests and coordinating tasks.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure a smooth operation.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated time frames.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as per the hotel's schedule.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
