Mortgage Loan Processor

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to join our client in Coral Gables, FL! The Foreclosure Associate is primarily responsible for the review and execution of a variety of documents that are required in support of Foreclosure proceedings. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is offering $20/HR!

Responsibilities of the mortgage Loan Processor include:

• Performs reconciliation of the system of record to confirm funds received satisfy the total amount due, as it relates to loans in Foreclosure.
• Responsible for reviewing short funds received to system of record to identify shortage discrepancy post-payoff quote.
• Required to reach out to the Borrower, Internal or External Vendor i.e. Title Company, Closing Attorney, Escrow Team to advise and collect the shortage amount.
• Review and confirm the accuracy of documents drafted by outside counsel.
• Communicate with vendors, attorneys, other business units teams, Company's legal and senior leadership to manage document execution.
• Navigate effectively through the system of record to ensure all information within all documents are verified in a timely manner
• A team-player: Work with co-workers to assist in achieving department goals

Requirements include:

• Must be available M-F 8-5 - In Office
• High School Diploma, GED, equivalent certification
• The ideal candidate has Mortgage Loan Servicing experience, with emphasis in Foreclosure and/or Bankruptcy processing
• Knowledge of the Foreclosure process (Complaint, Affidavit of Debt, Substitution of Trustee, Foreclosure Deeds, etc.) preferred
• Knowledge of the Bankruptcy process (Proof of Claim, Motion for Relief, Reaffirmation Agreements, etc.) preferred
• Foreclosure and/or Bankruptcy terminology
• Detail oriented
• Excellent written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• State Notary desired
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask
• Financial Knowledge preferred
• Organizational and time management skills (ability to prioritize efficiently)
• Good problem solving skills
