The Kelly® Professional & Industrial team is looking for Warehouse Clerks to join a growing client in Georgetown, TX!

Title: Warehouse Clerks

Shift: 7am -3:45pm

Duration: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $15hr

The Warehouse Clerk is an integral part of our team, responsible for efficiently pulling orders and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety and organization.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

- Perform monthly inventory counts and collaborate with the coordinator to analyze any discrepancies in inventory.

- Maintain accurate pick records and promptly report any discrepancies to the coordinator.

- Ensure the warehouse area remains sanitary and orderly, participating in minor repair work and housekeeping tasks as needed.

- Review the daily shipment schedule and work with other warehouse team members to plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet customer delivery requirements.

- Lead start-of-shift safety meetings to discuss the previous day's injuries, safety trends, and potential hazards for the upcoming shift.

- Check specification sheets and other instructions to meet customer specifications, personally inspecting pallets of product for new customers and accompanying truck drivers on initial deliveries.

- Monitor daily inventory of finished goods against delivery schedules to minimize handling and product damage.

- Lead daily safety checks of forklift trucks, tractor-trailer restraining systems, and maintenance needs of over-the-road trucks, as well as checking conveyor and nesting equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.

- Physical ability to perform job functions such as bending, twisting, pulling, and standing, with the capability to lift and move up to 50lbs.

- Preferred knowledge of computer components and parts, although not required.

- Willingness to undergo training as a forklift operator.

- Analytical problem-solving skills.

- Proactive, positive, deliberate, and focused approach to tasks.

Education:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

- 1-2+ years of equivalent experience preferred but not required.
