RN Field Nurse
- $50 to $120 Hourly
- Part-Time
We are seeking an RN Field Nurse to join our team. Enjoy making a difference while making your own schedule.
Responsibilities:
Complete an initial assessment of patient to determine home care needs
Provide a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es)
Complete OAISIS documentation to help create a care plan, which establishes goals based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions
Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care
Identifies discharge planning needs as part of the care plan development and implements prior to discharge of the patient
Prepares clinical notes and updates the primary physician when necessary and at least every sixty day
Qualifications:
- Registered nurse with current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in nursing
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to assess patient independently in home setting
