The Urology Group is interviewing for an Insurance Benefits and Eligibility Specialist. The position is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm in our Norwood business office.

Duties:

Determine benefits and collects prepayments from patients.
Work with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, coinsurance and deductible information.
Discuss payment expectations and collect prepayments prior to appointments.
Set up payment plans with patients unable to pay bills in full at time of service.
Prepare self-pay quotes in coordination with supervisor.
Interview patients to obtain accurate and complete demographic information.
Work with divisions to obtain and provide requested information.
Answers billing calls.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
