Center for Spine and Orthopedics (CSO) is seeking a skilled and compassionate PM&R Physician to join our medical team of surgeons and pain management specialists. As a PM&R Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing injections and promoting overall wellness for our pain management clientele. Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer injections as well as medications
- Perform minor surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide patient education on treatment options, and overall wellness
Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., PM&R, Physiatry)
- Valid state medical license
- Proven experience in providing PM&R services
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements
- Experience with suture techniques for minor surgical procedures
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
