Attorney - Real Estate

Johnson Duffie, a multidisciplinary, full-service practice in Lemoyne, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the firm’s Real Estate practice group, representing both buyers and sellers in residential, commercial, and industrial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Represent our clients in all aspects of the acquisition, financing, sale, leasing and tax-free exchanges of real estate
• Meet regularly and communicate effectively with clients
• Provide expert legal analysis, develop case strategy and arrive at practical solutions for clients
• Work effectively and professionally as part of a team, including colleagues, support staff and others involved in a case
• Obtain and organize appropriate case related materials
• Attend court hearings
• Provide professional and creative options for resolving disputes
• Conduct effective legal research
• Contribute to the growth of the firm

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited law school

• Licensed to practice in PA

• 1 to 3 years’ experience practicing real estate law; experience in municipal law and family law is a plus

• Mature and possess strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities

• Conscientiousness with high attention to detail

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Possess skills and comfort using modern software technology to improve efficiency, such as MS Office, PCLaw, and related applications

• US Work authorization is required
