Position Overview

Lead the IT design, build, testing, implementation and support of integrated processes for manufacturing & fabrication execution across multiple plants and divisions. . This IT business process leader will oversee external resources and program activities on our large shop floor initiatives. This resources is expected to ensure the end to end processes designed and implemented are functionally accurate and meet business expectations end to end from scheduling through shipping. This team leader will work with all levels of the business to collect business requirements and translate the requirements into the correct solution architecture for the enterprise shop floor. The process expert will have configuration, light development and test responsibilities on shop floor projects. This team member will also have active support of process adherence with users

What you'll do

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)

  • Develop, propose, and implement innovative solutions to improve business outcomes in support of business strategies.
  • Build and maintain expertise on the shop floor portfolio for ME/MII globally. Proactively analyze business processes; elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and make recommendations typically seeking to leverage new or existing enterprise IT technology components.
  • Govern global and local enterprise business process alignment to IT tools, ensuring proper use of local variances and location specific adaptations. Identify opportunities to reduce process and portfolio complexity within across all global, regional and local shop floor applications.
  • Champion change and innovation. Stimulate creativity, innovation and open to new ideas. Identify opportunities for shop floor technology to generate value for business.
  • Constant compliance and awareness of corporate IT standards, technology trends, evolving regulatory requirements and their applicability to the business process and IT portfolio of the shop floor.
  • Partner and collaborate with operational leadership, cross divisional stakeholders and IT staff (including PMO, infrastructure, development and other business partner teams) to support business initiatives, deliver innovative solutions, and explore IT synergies and efficiencies
  • Responsible for maintaining healthy and conflict-free relationship between the business customer and the Shop Floor IT delivery teams. Responsible for creating and ensuring a productive, collaborative and friendly team environment.
  • Direct responsibility for delivery of solution work carried out by direct and matrixed teams per agreed upon milestones and commitments
  • Travel to all locations when on site application support is needed.

Who you are

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:

  • Expert knowledge to lead business process development and ensure IT solutions meet the needs of the business (Required)
  • Expert knowledge to lead SAP ME/MII functionality as well as integration with EWM and S/4 including batch management, goods movements and discrete production orders (Required)
  • Strong knowledge to lead use of AWS tools and advanced algorithms
  • Strong knowledge in working within global cross-functional teams
  • Expert knowledge in stakeholder and relationship management skills (Required)
  • Expert knowledge of functional and business process integration in manufacturing, shop floor execution, engineering, and supply chain within a consumer products, mill or variant configured industry. (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of technical aspects of performance tuning of shop floor systems including interfaces between S4/HANA, BI, PI, and ME/MII
  • Expert knowledge to develop teams - both with direct staff and indirect project teams including on and off shore resources
  • Expert knowledge to lead full lifecycle deployment on at least one large scale application implementation (Required)
  • Solid knowledge to lead projects, strong management and customer service skills (Required)
  • Expert knowledge to lead incident tracking and resolution with commercially available software
  • Expert knowledge interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge demonstrate strong planning, organizing and decision making skills.
  • Solid knowledge in demonstrated leadership skills in ITIL standards
  • Solid knowledge and proven ability to design application modifications in the form of functional and technical specifications
  • Solid knowledge in process and functional documentation
  • Solid knowledge of project management process, best practices and documentation of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
