About the Team
The Operations team is currently seeking an individual with metal working experience for our Fontana, CA manufacturing facility. The Operations team works together with other departments to create, build, assemble and ship products for the commercial construction industry.
About the Role
The Manufacturing Associate will work under the direction of the Production Manager and directly with the manufacturing staff to create product to be shipped to our customers, as well as other tasks as assigned including warehouse upkeep and organizing. This position is located in our Fontana, CA manufacturing facility. You will have a direct hand in ensuring employee relations align with organizational objectives by performing the following duties;
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Follow production schedule
- Inspecting quality/defects of product
- Organizing warehouse space
- Provide additional support to other departments
- General manufacturing work
- Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and ft components into the final product
- Maintain clean, safe and healthy work environment by complying with procedures
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met
Important Skills and Abilities
- Must follow safe working practices at all times
- Must be a team player
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Skilled or certified to operate forklift or pallet jack preferred
- Ability to think logically, analytically and solve problems
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. You should have sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of these skills. This would typically mean a minimum of three or more years’ previous experience in a manufacturing environment and experience with managing and planning production schedules.

You’ll be working on many projects, and will be expected to keep them all moving forward. You’ll need to be comfortable working on a computer and in a manufacturing environment. You should enjoy a small-business environment where your performance makes a difference every day. You’ll need to be self-directed, and be able to make decisions without continuous supervision.
