ITAD Technician

Position Summary

Are you passionate about taking things apart and seeing how they fit together? If so, consider this hands-on opportunity with Securis! The ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) Technician is responsible for testing and repairing electronics for resale. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, schedule and may require working one Saturday per month (potential overtime opportunity!).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Preparing, connecting, and executing test procedures as instructed by internal software.
Replacing parts of the equipment and repairing hardware problems as needed.
Identifying electronics from inbound inventory for resale.
Identifying and prioritizing detailed information from electronics for resale value.
Collecting inventory from within the warehouse and generating inventory lists for resale.
Updating information within an inventory management software such as Salesforce.

Experience

At least one year of related experience and/or training.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software.

Familiarity with Salesforce, Windows and MacOS preferred.

Educational Background

High school diploma or GED.
