OSP Construction Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction and setup of external plant infrastructure for telecommunication networks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety guidelines, industry norms, and the latest network designs during all construction activities.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors and various stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and within allocated budgets.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify that construction adheres to both standards and specifications.
• Address and resolve any complications that emerge throughout the construction process.
• Confirm that all construction staff are properly identified as contractors for our client, including the use of vests, ID badges, and vehicle magnets.
• Keep precise and comprehensive records of all construction operations.
• Generate and submit routine progress updates to management and relevant parties.
• Facilitate communication across departments to ensure efficient project coordination.

Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in outside plant (OSP) construction and installation.
• Well-versed in industry regulations and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and other pertinent applications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
