Responsibilities for the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer

Serve as a technical expert, utilizing advanced concepts, principles, and methods in water transmission hydraulics, operations, modeling, and other engineering fields.
Review project documents to ensure compliance and quality.
Innovate new techniques or enhance processes, materials, or products.
Support upper management and staff as a technical expert or consultant.
Oversee a team of engineers, technical experts, and technicians.
Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
Develop proposals for engineering projects or programs.
Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications for the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer:

6+ years of engineering experience.
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus but not required.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer by the State of Texas, or ability to acquire the license within six months if already licensed in another state.
Experience in InfoWater modeling.
Experience in water transmission hydraulic analysis, operations, and modeling.
Experience supervising a team of engineers, technical specialists, and technicians.
Valid Texas driver’s license.

Compensation for the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer:

Direct hire.
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid role)
Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM.
Pay: $88,800-$133,200/yr. (Depending on experience).
