Software Implementation Manager


We are seeking a manager that helps implement the Vytal platform into client environments. Your responsibilities are to plan a schedule for implementation, define goals, and track progress towards those goals. As an Implementation Manager, you will partner with cross-functional leaders, and vendors to ensure project goals are being met on time and on budget. This highly collaborative role works closely with customer operations team members, clients, vendor partners, end-users, and functional and technical team members, to deliver the solutions to the client. The manager oversees and maintains project plans and works closely with internal and external resources to monitor and communicate progress and provide recommendations to project stakeholders and leadership.


Core Responsibilities

  • Develop scope and project plans which stay on budget and schedule
  • Manage a team of analysts who are responsible for providing implementation support for multiple clients and multiple implementation projects simultaneously
  • Ensure initial client set up and data collection for client modules is done accurately and efficiently for our clients including web and mobile applications
  • Set and manage customer expectations through defined objectives, effective communication, and delivery of results.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on the delivery model to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and collaboration; troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems and challenges
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to help define and develop scalable, automated onboarding solutions.
  • Responsible for the overall implementation timeline, tasks, and milestones for new client “Go-Live”. Regularly interacts with client POC in a professional manner in order to ensure key milestones, dependencies, and changes are clearly communicated in a timely manner
  • Coordinates other Vytal Operational Team members and resources to provide the best experience for the client; other resources may include training, customer support, product, and data analytics
  • Ensures data integrity and security, consistent with Vytal and customers’ corporate policies
  • Communicates concerns and associated recommendations with Vytal application to the Customer Support Team and the Product Team; collaborates to implement approved recommendations
  • Responsible for change management process for maintaining the asset classification and standard maintenance schedule libraries for the Work Order module to ensure data libraries coincide with the data collection procedures and processes
  • Help in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals


Essential Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience managing software implementation projects in an iterative, incremental, or hybrid delivery model
  • Bachelor’s degree or significant post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; technical background is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in real estate software implementation such as computerized mechanical maintenance systems (CMMS), integrated workplace management systems (IWMS), clinical asset solutions, or related is preferred but not required
  • Client engagement experience managing customer software delivery projects
  • Experience directly managing project staff resources
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Smartsheet, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and operating systems is a plus
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment with shifting priorities and need to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service

Reports to: SVP of Operations


Work Location

Preferred: Boston, MA or Dallas, TX


Travel

Approximately 20% travel
