Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Tester to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for providing IT services and products to Command personnel and the EOD community. Software application development, electronic publication distribution, incident reporting, technical support services and supplying unclassified and classifieds networks for research, development and testing are just a few of the ways the Information Technology Division and ISB support NSWC IHD and the EOD warfighter.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Designs, modies, develops, writes and implements software test cases, plans, and reports.
• Familiar with a variety of the eld's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Process development and renement.
• Leading or managing one or more components of the software development process.
• Eective problem solving.
• Project milestone development, management and reporting.
• Assessing levels of eort for work packages to support changes to software products.
• Hold current certications in applicable software development technologies and tools.
• Assists in the denition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
• Interacts with other engineering groups to dene, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modications.
• Identies functional problems and suggestsresolutions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years professional experience in software testing, to include tasks such as design, modification, development and implementation of software test cases, plans, and reports.

Required Certification

• CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP

Security Clearance:

• Must currently possess an active Secret clearance (min.)
