Remote but must live within 2 hours of Detroit metro area! 2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience and prior authorization experience.
Call center/strong customer service experience required.
We are really looking for people that have worked in specialty pharmacies.
The Pt B PA Specialists talk to providers and members about their specialty medications (meds that are infused at a physician or outpatient infusion center). We are looking for really good customer service skills particularly with resolving escalations. So, the person can be from a hospital, infusion center, specialty pharmacy, etc., but that extra customer service and empathy is really something we are looking to find. We can teach the drugs and prior auth process, but the soft skills are what we want.
This is an 8-month contract with opportunity to extend. May have the opportunity to convert to a direct hire.
Pays up to $22 an hour- benefits included.
